Temple Grandin wrote the foreword to Back In My Arms! Here's what she has to say about the book:
"Back In My Arms provides lots of practical advice for teaching young children with severe autism. I cannot stress enough the importance of early educational teaching. The many hours that Kim Lesso spent working with her children every day paid off. Children who were diagnosed as low functioning are now fully verbal and very high functioning.
Kim Lesso's book will be especially helpful to parents who either home school their kids or have to develop an effective program on a low budget. There are many helpful tips on diet that can help reduce tantrums and sensory over-sensitivity." — Dr. Temple Grandin

Temple Grandin's impact on Kim Lesso
Temple Grandin has been an inspiration to me since I first heard her speak in 1995.
Several years ago, Temple recommended to me that I one day write a book about my discoveries regarding and victories over autism. Temple's kind words to me were a major driving force behind my development of Back In My Arms.
I would like to personally thank Temple for her encouragement and trail blazing efforts in the field of autism. Because of what Temple has accomplished, the eyes of the world are now willing and able to see autism in a more glorious light of hope.
